The barn is 5,810 square feet, which includes the lower milking parlor.  There is also an attached toolshed, and a small well/smoke house.  The barn was utilized as an International Hostel from 1955 until about 2000 something, and as such it has utility hook ups for two bathrooms with 3 stalls and 3 sinks, and one shower stall in each bathroom, for a total of 6 sinks, six stalls, and two showers.  The barn also has utility hook-ups for 2 - 220 appliances, a wash sink and a traditional farm sink. The farmhouse is 1,650 square feet, with two upper bedrooms and one bathroom on the main level.  The main level has one full bathroom and there are no bathrooms on the upper level.  

Our team of local Greendale residents are working to develop a plan that best compliments the area, neighborhood and is respectful to our neighbors.  We are well aware of the challenges the neighbors have had to experience with nearby developments and we ant to be very respectful of our neighbors and invite them to come visit us, meet our team and see what we are doing.  We are open to hear your thoughts, concerns, ideas and to be the best neighbor possible, and have provided a link to share those thoughts.  It's important to write them down so that our whole team can review them.  We appreciate your patience during this process, as we too collectively have more questions than answers.  

 At this time, all of the work that is being done to renovate the property is being done in-kind.  A team of mostly Greendale residents has been hauling trash, painting and creating a clean/empty canvas to create a new future for this property.  We are accepting volunteers and donations, to make this project a reality.  We have begun generating some revenue via short term rentals, and hope to open a small shop, recreational equipment rental or event space.   Feel free to reach out with any inquires, we will be happy to answer the best we can!
